Welcome to The Parish of St. Clement's -- an Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Hawai`i. We were founded in 1898 by three men who bought a portion of land next to sugar cane fields in "rural" Honolulu. The parish has continued to be a strong presence in the Makiki community even as those fields have become a city park and our little piece of land is surrounded by tall condominiums. St. Clement's has a reputation for its progressiveness and desire to walk the talk that is expected of followers of Jesus Christ. We are committed to maintaining Christ's light in the world through generous hospitality and mutual discipleship; we care more about deepening our individual and corporate faith than we do about numbers. It's not easy being a Christian in this world, and we know the challenge to follow Christ to and through the cross is a difficult one. But we accompany one another on this journey of faith and manage to have lots of fun along the way. We welcome all to our community and, if you find that this is a place where you'd like to continue your faith journey, we're here to help you find the path that God is calling you to travel. Join us as we walk this journey together! |
