Parish Hike - St. Clement's Episcopal Church Waimano Valley Trail & Stations of the Cross Saturday, March 6 1:00 p.m. at the church, or 1:30 p.m. at the trail head This 2 mile loop hike has an elevation gain of 400 feet, and is listed as a "novice" trail in Stuart Ball's guidebook. It samples a short stretch of a peaceflu, lovely valley. Smooth, reflective water alternates with shallow rapids in a stream along the trail. Lined with strwaberry quava trees and a number of native trees, the trail will give us an opportunity, hopefullyo hear the sweet song of the white-rumped shama. The Stations of the Cross we will be using have meditations written by Sister Joan Chittister, O.S.B. (Order of St. Benedict), and artwork from a young Kenyan artist. Booklets can be borrowed for the hike, or purchased ($5) to take home. Please sign up with Rev. Michael Barham if you might be joining us for this hike.
